Prices in Puerto Rico are comparable to prices in the United States. Puerto Rico is not as cheap as some people think; it’s also not a place where you can negotiate the price of things, like you can in other Caribbean nations and Mexico.

Yes, but don’t worry. Rain in Puerto Rico is normally quick in and quick out. It is unusual for it to rain for a long period. Puerto Rico also has a 28,000 acre tropical rainforest on the island, so yes: rain is common. It can be raining in one place and completely dry and sunny a few miles away. Also, Rio Grande, which is the City of El Yunque, literally translates to ‘big river,’ so don’t be surprised if you almost always see rain forecasted there! Puerto Rico Forecast

If you elect to add on options, such as insurance, GPS, roadside assistance and/or tolls or the link, you will be charged for them. Your rental quote does not include these things unless it specifically states it does. Do not buy rental car insurance from third party companies like Priceline, Kayak, or Hotwire. Although they’re generally ok to make you booking with, buy the insurance directly from the rental car agency if you’re not using your own or your mastercard’s protections.
